The Essex GED Testing Program, serving the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck for more than 30 years, will sponsor a GED test on Saturday, June 5 at the Northern Neck Technical Center in Warsaw.
Candidates may register on or before Wednesday, May 26. They may come directly to the Essex County School Board Office in Tappahannock for immediate processing, or they may register at the school board office in their own county. If they choose the latter option, they must specify that they want to test through the Essex program.
The cost of the complete battery of five tests for first time testers is $45. Thereafter, the cost for each test retaken is $7.
Early registration is encouraged, as seating is limited. Depending upon the demand, partial tests may be offered in Tappahannock on the Wednesday preceding the June 5 date.
For additional information, candidates may contact Bonita Smith, Chief Examiner, at 443-2151, or Kimberly Hodges, Alternate Examiner at 443-4366.
