On June 26-27, at the University of Maryland (UMBC) the Potomac Raiders swim club competed against the following teams at the ASC/RAC swim meet: Annapolis Swim Club , Baltimore City Swim Club , Cardinal Gold Aquatics, Carroll Aquatics Tiger Sharks , Chesapeake Bay Aquatic Club , Columbia Aquatics Association , Coastal Aquatics Swim Team, Greater Annapolis Swim League, Greater Baltimore Swim Association ,Green Terror Aquatic Club Monocacy Aquatic Club , Naval Academy Aquatic Club , North Baltimore Aquatic Club, Retriever Aquatic Club .
Potomac Raider head coach Sam Fattah spoke highly of his team’s success during the summer months.

“I am very pleased with the way this team has improved in the last year,” Fattah said. “We have many promising swimmers on the team with some polish, they are already on top of their game! We have created an environment of success to train our swimmers in which already started to help everyone reach their goals. The Raiders are marching forward day after day, and we started to see swimmers achieving National time standards, and breaking records that been standing for years.”  
The Raiders swim team swimmers had many great swims all weekend including many National Time Standard cuts, new personal bests and three new team records.
Potomac Raider ASC/RAC swim-meet results: 
Abby Elia (8): Ranked 14th in the 100-meter freestyle with a time of 2:11.13-L and 13th in the 50-meter backstroke with a time of 57.97-L; Mo Elia (11): Ranked 18th in the 100-meter backstroke with time of 1:38.04 and 20th in the 200-meter freestyle time of 3:12.8; Tyler Grigg (17): Ranked 2nd in the 200-meter butterfly with time of 2:38.24-L, 2nd in the 200 IM time of (2:39.31) and 4th in the 100-meter butterfly time of (1:10.14-L); Jacob Miller (9): ranked 3rd in the 100-meter breaststroke with time of 1:52.53-L; Kourtney Miller (13): ranked 3rd in the 200-meter freestyle with a time of 2:29.70-L, 5th in the 200-meter IM (2:55.93-L) and 8th in 200-meter breaststroke (3:25.76-L); Leann Miller (15): Ranked 1st in the 200-meter freestyle  with a time of 2:27.85, 4th in the 200-meter backstroke (2:48.74L), 5th in the 200-meter butterfly (3:01.44), 5th in the 200-meter breaststroke (3:19.75-L); Matt Minero (12): Ranked 8th in the 200-meter IM  with a time of 3:29.40, 9th in the 100-meter backstroke (1:42.91) and 9th in 100-meter breaststroke (1:52.44); Sally Owen: Finished 11th in the 100-meter butterfly with a time of 1:46.52; Emma parker: Finished 4th in the 100-meter breaststroke with a time of  1:56.32, 3rd in the 50-meter breaststroke 52.06; Elyse Quartuccio: finished 13th in the 200-meter breaststroke with a time of 3:35.19; James Quarttuccio: Ranked 17th in the 200-meter backstroke with a time of  2:53.48; Gabby Thomas: Ranked 10th in the 100-meter freestyle with at time of 1:31.85, 11th in the 100-meter backstroke (1:48.83), 12th in the 50-meter butterfly (52.23).
Meet Most Improved:
Jacob Miller: Dropped more than 18 seconds in the 200-meter backstroke achieving a personal best time of 2:58.08. He dropped more than 12 seconds in the 100-meter breaststroke with time of 1:52.53.
Emma Parker: Dropped more than 20 seconds in the 50-meter butterfly achieving personal best time of 52.20.
James Quartuccio: Dropped more than 6 seconds in the 200-meter IM, achieving a personal best time of 2:53.47.
New Raiders Record:  
Maria Behnke set three new team records in the 100-meter butterfly (1:38), 200-meter IM and 200-meter backstroke (3:04.35).
