The brightly colored palm trees at Tim’s II in Fairview Beach starkly contrast the frozen waves lapping the banks of the Potomac River. Last week, temperatures stayed low, with a high of 38 and a low of 16 degrees.
Temperatures reached a high of 52 degrees and a low of 21 during the same week last year.
