St. Paul's Masterworks Chorus presents "Magnificat"

On Sunday, Nov. 18 at 7:30 p.m. St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Route 206, Owens, will present their Autumn Masterworks Concert. This "Evening of Advent and Christmas Music" will include the great masterpiece "Magnificat” by Sir Charles Villiers Sanford and several carols accompanied by pipe organ, piano and harp.
The children of the Junior and Youth Masterworks Choruses directed by Kara Pekar, will sing the first half of the concert followed by the Adult Masterworks Chorus, directed by Jeannine Richardson. Stephanie Niepraschk and student Rachel Wright will be the pianists for the children. The adults will be joined by guest organist Joan Gurniak and harpist Stephanie Weberg.
A free-will offering will be taken to benefit this community outreach program.
This concert is a wonderful way to usher in the Advent season. It is free and open to the public. St. Paul’s is located at 5486 St. Paul’s Road. The church is handicapped accessible.
