Gilbert Nathan Skinner
Nora Balderson Beasley, 66, of Montross died Saturday, May 12, 2012.
She was employed in the accounting department at NSWC Dahlgren for 30 years, and was a member of Menokin Baptist Church.
She is survived by her mother, Lorena Sanford of Warsaw; two sons, Tom Beasley Jr. (Christi), of Farnham and Rodney Beasley of Warsaw; and a grandson, Tim Beasley of Boca Raton, FL. Also surviving are her sister, Margaret Moss of Montross; brother Calvin Balderson (Rita), of Montross; and half sister Wanda Hamilton (Ray), of Farnham.
Nora was preceded in death by brother Gene Balderson and two grandchildren, Anne Marie Beasley and Joe Beasley.
The family received friends Wednesday, May 16, at Welch Funeral Home, Warsaw.
A service was held Thursday, May 17, at Menokin Baptist Church, Warsaw, with burial in the church cemetery.

Albert Lee Beall, Jr.
Albert Lee Beall Jr., 55, of Colonial Beach passed away Friday, May 11, 2012, at Mary Washington Hospital.
Albert is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Ann Beall; his children, Albert L. Beall III, Troy Parlett (Amber), Roger Beall (LeAnna), Tara Harrower, Tanya Negahnquet (Tommy) and Michael Beall; 12 grandchildren; seven siblings, Ginny Kreamer, Brenda Mims (Dave), Bobby Beall, Randy Beall, Kathy Barnes (Ed), Debbie Burgess and Cindy Holton (Charles); and several nieces and nephews.
Albert was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Burgess; his father, Albert L. Beall; and a brother, James “Jimmy” Beall.
A memorial service was held at Saturday, May 19, at Nash & Slaw Funeral Home, Colonial Beach.

Kathleen W. M. Maguire
Kathleen Wade Murphy Maguire, 71, of Hollywood, Md., formerly of King George County, passed away peacefully Monday, May 14, 2012.
Kathy was a beloved mother to and is survived by James Nolan Maguire, Jr. of Waldorf, MD, Mark Daryl Maguire of Parksley, VA, Suzanne Marie Maguire of Hollywood, MD, and Sean Matthew Maguire of Owings, MD, and her fabulous grandchildren, Barbara Jean, Stephen Wade, Jordin Mallory, Hollin Brooke, A. Nolan, Katherine Elizabeth, and Madeline Morgan.
She is also survived by her siblings, David Murphy, David Morgan, Thomas Morgan, Craig Phillip Morgan, Laura Miller, and Jean Fitzgerald.
A memorial service was held Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Mechanicsville, MD, followed by a lunch reception.
Interment immediately followed lunch at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Pomfret, MD.

William “Allen” Baker, III
William “Allen” Baker III, 18, of Leland, NC, passed away Tuesday May 15, 2012, at his home.
Allen was born at Walter Reed Hospital on Jan. 30, 1994, the son of William Allen Baker Jr. of Baltimore and Janice Lynn Hall-Baker of Leland. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William and Minnie Baker.
Allen was a senior at North Brunswick High School, where he served as command Sgt. Major of the JROTC. He loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting, and was a member of the Loudon County Garden Hunt Club.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sisters, Patsy Jane Hall of Stafford County, Shelly Leigh Franklin of King George County and his twin sister, Amanda Renee Baker of Baltimore; maternal grandparents Glenn and Betty Hall of Stafford; nephew and nieces Dylan Randall, Hannah Hearn and Alexis Randall; and host of other family and friends.
A graveside service was conducted Tuesday, May 22, at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Fredericksburg.
The family suggests memorials be directed to the JROTC at North Brunswick High School, 1395 Scorpion Drive, Leland, NC, 28451.

Margaret E. Sexton
Margaret E. Sexton, 84, of Alexandria went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, May 16, 2012.
She leaves behind a loving family of three generations, including her dear husband of 64 years, James Grant Sexton. Also left to mourn are her daughters, Susan McDowell (Bruce), Sandra Makely (Steve), and Sheila Padilla; her son, James Sexton Jr.; her granddaughters, Audrey Bashar (Shap) and Abigail Porter (Louis); her grandsons, Daniel Padilla and Jacob Padilla (Margie); her two great-grandsons, Jordan and James Bashar; and her little dog, Olivia.
Margaret enjoyed retirement from the federal government and, in her free time, loved to travel, garden, read and tend to her beloved little dogs.
A gathering will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, May 24, at Jefferson Funeral Chapel, 5755 Castlewellan Drive, Alexandria, where a celebration of life will take place at 11 a.m.
