John C. Gleason, 55, of Colonial Beach passed away Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Mary Washington Hospital.
John was born in Detroit, MI. He was employed by Heritage Hall in King George County as a C.N.A. and previously worked at Westmoreland Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center. He was a member of King George Church Of God.
John is survived by his wife, Patty E. Gleason of the home; two children, Noel Marie Gleason and John Curtis Gleason, both of Colonial Beach; his father, Curtis David Gleason of Cedartown, GA.; his mother, Ruth M. Northrup of Oakdale, NY; three sisters, Kimette L. Cannady of Colonial Beach, Dawn Marie Haase of Cedartown, GA, and Deborah Joy Occhipinti of Babylon, NY; a brother, Daniel Gleason Sr. of Ashland, VA; and several nieces and nephews and other family members.
The family will receive friends from 6:15 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, December 20 at King George Church Of God, 8095 Kings Highway, King George, VA., 22485, with a memorial service starting at 7 p.m. officiated by Pastor Milton Carter.
Burial will be private.
