Lawrence Foster “Pee Wee” Atwell, 77, of Colonial Beach passed away Sunday, November 25, 2012 at home.
Pee Wee was a handyman who loved riding his bike around Colonial Beach and helping others. He attended both Colonial Beach Baptist and Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Since 1966, Pee Wee made his home with Susie and the late Donald Foster.
He is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a special friend, Catherine Meincke.
A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30 at Nash & Slaw Funeral Home, Colonial Beach.
Interment will be private.**
