Fanny E. Baggett, 88, of Fredericksburg passed away Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, at Carriage Hill Health and Rehab Center.
Mrs. Baggett was a longtime resident of Colonial Beach. She was a telephone operator for C&P and AT&T for 30 years before retiring in 1986. Her hobbies were quilting and plastic canvas.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert E. Baggett, in June 2005; and her siblings, Robert in 1932, Homer in 1996, Katherine in 1999 and Evelyn in 2002.
Survivors include her daughter, Diane Kerr (Peter), of Fredericksburg; her husband’s brothers and their wives; and many nieces and nephews.
A service was held Friday, Feb. 8, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. Burial followed in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family received friends prior to the service at the funeral home.
