Darlene S. Hudson, 57, of Fredericksburg went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013.
Mrs. Hudson had retired from NSWC Dahlgren. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and of the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Barry Hudson; daughters Stephanie Lee Jones and Sarah Darlene Meadows; mother Madge Shrieves; brothers James Thomas Shrieves Jr. and Danny Purnell Shrieves; and three stepgrandchildren, Jed Isaiah, Malachi Thomas and Caleb Harvey Jones.
The family received friends Friday, Jan. 25, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
A service was Saturday, Jan. 26, at Bethel Baptist Church. Burial followed in White Oak Primitive Baptist Church cemetery.
