Rita B. Maslock, 52, of Bowling Green died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at Mary Washington Hospital.
She worked at Woodmont Center Nursing Home and had been a caring geriatric nurse for 32 years. She loved singing, butterflies and her two dogs, Abbey and Mikey.

Survivors include her son, Aaron M. Maslock and girlfriend Kacie Luttrell of Bowling Green; three sisters, Shirley Hanks of Colonial Beach, Carolyn Miller of Glen Allen and Bonnie Blum of Spotsylvania County; and foster brother, Peter Stolz of Florida.

A funeral was held on Tuesday, Jan. 15, at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green. Burial followed in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fredericksburg.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Box 920, Bowling Green, VA,22427.
