To the Editor:
On Saturday April 20 I had the privilege of sitting at a table at the YMCA for the children’s health day activities. Over the duration of the three hour period I probably talked to 150-200 children about eating healthy foods. PARENTS you are doing a good job! At no time did I meet an obnoxious or rude child. Parents of King George, it was a pleasure to work with your children. Keep up the good work.

On Saturday, Nov. at 3 p.m. you will have the opportunity to help shape the future of the King George Farmers’ Market. There is sentiment on the Board of the Market to uninvite the Westmoreland farmers who have graced the market this summer for the first time. This should not happen.
