HELP WANTED Administrative and Office Specialist III (position #00018) Rappahannock Community College seeks an individual to serve as administrative and office specialist III for Workforce and Community Development primarily on the Glenns Campus. Duties include clerical support for the vice president of Workforce and Community Development and trainers, including: typing contracts, and payrolls; setting up courses and reports; scheduling course schedules; registering training participants; compiling evaluation summaries; and maintaining files. Generates, formulates and disseminates reports and certificates. Qualifications Required: Graduation with an Associate’s Degree or higher from accredited college or university or an equivalent amount of related occupational experience; demonstrated strong customer service skills; excellent computer and math skills; ability to use MS Office 2007, Access, and Excel; demonstrated ability in data gathering, data entry, database creation and management and record retention. Effective written and verbal communication skills are necessary. Must be detail oriented, self-directed, and strong in organizational skills. Must have a demonstrated ability to successfully function in a team environment with good interpersonal skills working with a diverse population. Qualifications Preferred: experience in conference and workshop planning; Familiarity with local business and industry. Pay band 3 classified position with excellent benefits package.
