She occasionally attended Northside Baptist Church and loved working with the children at bible school. Taylor loved her family, was an avid animal lover and felt her happiest when she was at the beach. She loved to fish, go boating, eat crabs, and be with her many friends. Taylor also volunteered at 4 Seasons Daycare where she loved to work with the 3 and 4 year old children. She was preceded in death by her brother, Chandler; aunts, Alma “Bootsie” Shelton, Erma Mayhugh, and Virginia Shores; uncle, Henry E. Winston, Jr.; and great-grandparents, Salkeld and Gladys Stamper. Survivors include her parents, Darrell and Deborah Bowie; grandmother, Duane Powell; grandparents, James R. and Brenda Moats; a great-aunt, Joyce Kain; many cousins including Henry Warren Winston; godmothers, Adrienne D. Padget, and Diana Izzo; godfather, Randy Newton; and god-sisters, Whitney M. Newton, and Cabel B. Newton. In addition to her family, Taylor also leaves behind to cherish her memory, her pit bull, Dutchess; her “sisters” Toni Moles, Ashley Greenwood, Kendall Jager, Kayla Matthews, and many, many friends and relatives who loved her deeply. A memorial service will be held at noon on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel with the Rev. Jack A. Marcom, Jr. officiating. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the King George Animal Rescue League, PO Box 1003, Dahlgren, Va. 22448. Online guestbook is available at covenantfuneralservice.com.
