C.Ray Brooks, Jr.

C. Ray Brooks Jr., 71, of Colonial Beach, formerly of Arlington, died Thursday, June 10, 2010.
Mr. Brooks was a retired printer in Fairfax, and an Army veteran who served during the Korean War.
He is survived by two brothers, Robert Brooks and wife Paula of Colonial Beach and Charles Brooks of Stafford County; and a niece and a nephew.
A service was held Monday, June 14, at Nash & Slaw Funeral Home, King George, with the Rev. Johnny Almond officiating. Burial followed in Meadow-Brooke Memorial Gardens in King George.

Paul S. Tracy, III

Paul S. Tracy III, beloved husband and father, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2010, at University Of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, following a massive stroke.
Born Jan. 9, 1960, in New York City, Paul spent the early years of his life in North Salem, N.Y. He attended Mary Washington College, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in history.
While pursuing his college degree, he met his future wife, Sue Hyatt. Sue and Paul were married at Emmaus in King George and spent 28 wonderful years together.
Paul was a devoted son, husband, father, brother and uncle. He was also a lover of animals, particularly his two miniature dachshunds, Pac-Man and Yoda. He served the community many years as the manager and part owner of Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts, in King George.
Next to his family, Paul’s greatest passion in life was golf. He and his wife had a deep love for the game. In their spare time, they enjoyed playing golf together and met many beloved friends.
Paul spent his final hours doing what he loved most-- playing golf with his wife.
In honor of Paul, a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, at Four Winds Golf Course.
The service will be open to family and friends.
Paul is survived by his wife, Sue; his daughter, Amber; his sisters, Victoria A. Bilodeau and Georgiana McDonald of Oxford, Conn.; and a brother, Mark Tracy of Silver City, N.M. Paul will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation in Paul’s name be made to Emmaus, Box 639 King George, Va. 22485.
